The Kobashi Studio Japanese Chrysanthemum Bandana showcases exquisite Japanese textile artistry, crafted in Tokyo by a scarf company established in 1918. The bandana merges traditional techniques with modern aesthetics in a single piece — substantial, refined, and rich in cultural reference.

The bandana is made from 100% cotton, silk-screen printed and dyed using a method that allows the rich pigment to soak through to the reverse side. The color is "Miru-iro" (海松色) — a traditional Japanese olive green loved in Japan for over 500 years. Historically regarded as a calm and auspicious color, Miru-iro has long been used for celebrations and commemorative occasions across Japanese culture.

The design is hand-illustrated by Kobashi Studio founder Junichi Kobashi, who reinterpreted a very old Japanese chrysanthemum pattern through a contemporary lens. The composition brings quiet elegance and natural rhythm across the fabric — timeless in reference, modern in execution.
