Chadian Flag

The current flag of Chad adopted in 1959 is often confused with Romanias flag for being near identical. The idea for Chad's flag was to mimic the French version (the former colonisers) but instead use Pan-African colours. 

The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
