The Flat Head is a unique take on the classic thermal shirt, combining a modern relaxed raglan silhouette with a highly unusual dual-construction fabric. Much lighter and airier than typical thermals, this shirt is designed to be comfortable in warmer weather while functioning as a refined layering piece in cooler seasons.

What makes this garment a true anomaly is the fabric itself. It is tubular knit — the body has no side seams — yet it combines two distinct knitting patterns in a single seamless construction. The bulk of the shirt is a classic honeycomb thermal knit, prized for its softness and thermal properties, while rib knitting on the sides and back provides a body-hugging structure and enhances the shirt's silhouette. This dual-construction cloth is produced on a wholegarment knitting machine, allowing both structures to be knit as one continuous piece — a genuinely rare technical feat.

The collar is finished with The Flat Head's distinctive "triple-needle single-drop" stitching — a signature construction detail sewn with #30 gauge cotton thread, refined enough to preserve the fabric's softness while providing exceptional collar stability over years of wear.
